PRESENTATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We take care of the environment and we aim to reduce our environmental footprint, through
actions and initiatives, according to national and European policy. Our hotel, according to the
needs of its location, strives to reduce the environmental impact of its activities,
continuously improving and enhancing practices that conserve natural resources, minimize
waste, save energy, etc.
Improvements that have been made include:
• Refuse bins for glass, aluminum and paper in common-used spaces and in the food
preparation room. This is added to the current hotel recycling program.
• Cleaning and washing chemicals have a quality label and are compatible with the list of
prohibited Green Key products.
• Annual disinfections are carried out both in rooms and in common-use spaces
• We use energy-saving bulbs throughout the hotel
• We use regular energy efficiency improvements in the building
•We inform our staff on environmental consciousness and behavior issues
• Free Wi-Fi in rooms and common-use spaces
• The building has been built with respect to the environment, as it is within the traditional
Delphi sector
• Receptionists are able to inform customers about the Green Key program and
Environmental Initiatives
• Information is provided on green areas, award-winning Blue Flag beaches and local public
transport
• We promote cooperation with recyclers (batteries, bulbs)
• In the rooms there is information about saving water and energy
• There is an Energy Saving Entry Card when guests are out of the room
• A heating / cooling policy is maintained when the windows are open
• There is also electric heating
• Greek Breakfast is also offered
• A Roof garden and an indoor garden has been formed within our hotel that “hosts” our
winged visitors, such as swallows, etc.

DELPHI:
“THE HEART OF GREECE”

Delphi is geographically placed in the heart of Greece, in the Prefecture of Central Greece.

Driving on a road of almost 100km along the coastline of the Municipality of Delphi, the visitor is
on the meeting point of the two elements that best describe Greece: the sea water, with the
indented seashores, the capes, the little bays, is harmoniously combined with the mythical
mountains with the beautiful peaks and gorges.

It is a region with the famous archaeological Site of Delphi, which is characterized by
UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”

The impressive “Delphic Landscape”, dominated by the silver-green Olive Grove of
Amfissa and with the modern sea node of Itea as well as the noble nautical town of
Galaxidi which is often described as “an island on the land”

The mountains of Ghiona, Ete, Parnassos and Vardoussia, all regions of the “Natura
2000” network, which are of high ecological value with scattered picturesque villages rich
in history and tradition

Testimonials

Just a quick note to express our gratitude to you and your staff for your wonderful care during our stay in Delphi.
Everything was so delightful and you made our visit to your beautiful town very enjoyable.
Thank you, also, for the wonderful breakfast - it was very delicious and we appreciate all that you provided for us.

We stayed here one night in a triple room. The room was average by European standard. All the basic facilities were there. They were doing a new roof garden so the roof access was closed but they offered to open it for us to get the great view from there and take pictures. We reaches late but they have a 24 hour check jn desk which is definitely a plus. The breakfast though basic was filling. Stayed May 2016, traveled with family.

An elegant, arty, small hotel in the village of Delphi, family owned by a lovely couple with two little boys. The owner, Penny, is a great host, personally taking care of her guests and of breakfast, making herself excellent cakes to start your day with. The lobby is modern, arty and the rooms, even if not very big, are carefully decorated, with all the amenities we were looking for and above all, really clean and tide!

Our room was great- clean, well laid out, had a balcony with a great view, nice and warm for a December visit. Staff were lovely and a nice breakfast included in the price. Everything we needed and a great price as it was off season.
